Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use You, Explained. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for protecting access to your email account.

What the service is

You, Explained is an AI-assisted reflection and self-discovery product. It can help you notice patterns, explore context, and identify practical next steps, but its outputs can be incomplete or wrong and should be checked before important decisions.

Not professional care

The service is not therapy, medical care, diagnosis, treatment, legal advice, financial advice, or emergency support. Contact an appropriate qualified professional or local emergency service when needed.

Symbolic frameworks

Astrology and related self-discovery frameworks are optional and symbolic. They do not determine your identity, predict your future, or replace your judgment.

Free features and membership

The natal chart, chart wheel, and layered reading are available without an account, payment card, or trial. The optional membership adds current transits, the private journal, pattern tracking, and the personal guide. Monthly and annual billing are two payment schedules for the same membership, not separate tiers.

Price, payment, and renewal

Membership costs $39.99/year when billed annually or $5.99/month when billed monthly. The selected amount is charged when checkout is completed. Membership automatically renews at the same billing interval and then-current disclosed price until you cancel. Any price change will be disclosed before it applies to a renewal.

New memberships have no free trial. Taxes may be added where required and are shown by the payment provider before purchase.

Cancellation

You can cancel inside your account in one action. Cancellation stops the next renewal; membership access continues through the period already paid for. Deleting an account also ends the account, but cancellation is the simpler option when you only want to stop renewal.

Refunds and billing problems

Payments are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated at checkout. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact support promptly so it can be reviewed. A refund does not erase records that must be retained for payment processing, fraud prevention, tax, or other legal obligations.

Your content

You keep ownership of the content you provide. You give the service permission to process that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the product as described in the Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to break the law, harm another person, bypass security, access another user's account or data, or interfere with the service. Access may be limited or suspended to protect users and the product.

Availability

The service may change, pause, or experience errors. Features and access may be modified as the product develops. If a paid feature is materially discontinued, applicable billing and consumer-protection requirements will still be honored. No guarantee of uninterrupted availability is made.
