What this covers
This policy describes how You, Explained handles information for its public birth-chart experience and optional account-based self-discovery service. It does not cover separate private prototypes or personal systems.
Information you provide
We may collect your account email; onboarding choices such as focus areas and preferred guidance style; optional profile and birth details; conversations; feedback; and context you explicitly choose to save or review.
Free chart without an account
The public natal chart uses the birth date, time, and place you submit to calculate the result for that request. Those raw birth details are not written to an account or the product database. If you later create an account and choose to save birth details, the account-based terms below apply.
Product analytics
We record bounded events such as landing-page visits, free-chart starts and completions, signup steps, onboarding progress, and the internal path that led to a conversion. This funnel record does not include conversation text, birth details, email addresses, or other free-form personal content.
How information is used
Information is used to authenticate your account, provide Clarity Reads and continuity, calculate optional astrology context, protect the service, troubleshoot failures, and improve the product. We do not sell personal information or use private reflections for third-party targeted advertising.
AI and service providers
The parts of your request needed to generate a response are processed by the configured AI provider. Infrastructure providers may also process limited information to provide authentication, database, hosting, networking, and operational services.
Memory and control
Onboarding answers are stored as your account context. New uncertain observations from conversations are presented for review rather than silently becoming lasting facts. You can ask to correct or remove supported profile, conversation, and saved-context records.
Astrology and birth data
Birth details are optional and are used only when you enable astrology context. Astrology is presented as a symbolic reflection framework, not scientific fact, diagnosis, prediction, or fixed destiny.
Retention and requests
We retain information while it is needed to provide the service, protect the product, satisfy legal obligations, or resolve disputes. You may request access, correction, or deletion; requests may require identity verification and may be subject to legal limits.

This is irreversible. Your account and personal product data will be permanently deleted. Content-free financial records may remain where legally required.
