Privacy Policy

Purpose

JARVIS is a private personal assistant created for Jessica Ciernia. Its Oura connection is used only to provide personal wellness context and trend summaries to the authorized owner.

Conversation history and memory review

Normal JARVIS threads are stored privately so the owner can reopen them across devices and continue a conversation. A response may include provisional “What I learned” suggestions, but uncertain information is not added to the Living Brain unless the owner explicitly saves it. The owner can correct, reject, defer, make session-only, forget, archive, or permanently delete supported memory records.

Privacy warning: persistent personalization centralizes sensitive life context. Use Session only or Do not remember for information that should not remain in conversation history. Never enter passwords, verification codes, authentication links, full financial account data, client secrets, or records that could cause serious harm if exposed.

Context transparency

Each supported answer can show the memories, attributed imports, conversation history, astrology engine, and connected systems that influenced it. Archived, disputed, rejected, forgotten, and permanently deleted memories are excluded from future context. Imported messages remain attributed to their source and are never silently converted into facts about the owner.

Oura data accessed

With explicit authorization, JARVIS may read all data categories the owner enables in Oura: email and personal profile, sleep, readiness, activity, heart rate, workouts, tags, sessions, SpO₂, stress, heart-health indicators, and ring configuration. JARVIS has no permission to modify Oura data.

How data is used

Oura data is used to answer the owner's questions, identify personal wellness patterns, and provide non-medical context. It is not used for advertising, eligibility decisions, employee monitoring, insurance, credit, or automated medical diagnosis.

Natural voice

When voice output is enabled, the text of a JARVIS response is sent securely to the configured OpenAI speech service to create temporary audio. JARVIS does not save the generated audio file or place it in the knowledge graph.

Storage and security

OAuth access and refresh credentials are encrypted server-side. They are never placed in browser code, Git, or the visible knowledge graph. Phase 1 reads short-lived summaries from Oura and does not persist the raw Oura response or minute-level sensor feed.

Response feedback and learning

Good or bad ratings are stored privately with the related Jarvis response and used as cautious preference evidence for tone, length, structure, grounding, and usefulness. A rating never becomes a fact about the owner, does not automatically change the identity graph, and may be changed by rating the response again.

Sharing and sale

JARVIS does not sell Oura data. Oura data is not shared with advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties. Service providers used to operate the private application may process data only as needed to provide the service.

Owner control

The owner can revoke JARVIS access through Oura account settings and may request deletion of connector credentials and any generated wellness summaries. Revocation prevents future Oura API access.

Health limitation

JARVIS provides informational wellness context only. It is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis, treatment, or emergency services.
